Directions

  • Draw two large circles on the two flat sides of the milk jug, opposite the handle
  • Carefully cut out the circles
  • Under each circle, cut a small hole to push the dowel through. This is so the birds will have something to perch on.
  • Then poke four small holes in the bottom of the milk jug to allow drainage
  • Remove the cap and wrap the string/wire around the base of the opening and then twist the wire or tie off the string
  • Put the cap back on to keep the string or wire tight on the jug
  • Fill the milk jug with birdseed just beneath the large hole
  • Hang the birdfeeder from a tree branch and watch for the birdies!
